Ellingham Village

The parish of Ellingham lies in north-eastern Northumberland, close to the north sea coastline, and extends to approximately 9,124 acres. Its landscape is varied and falls from moorland in the west to rolling farmland in the east. The village of Ellingham lies roughly at the centre of the parish and is surrounded on most sides by remnants of its medieval field system.

The parish of Ellingham today is a small but active community who together with the estate have embarked on a mission of sustainability for the population. Current facilities include an Inn, first school, youth club, catering business, church, art gallery, wedding/conference and training factilty in addition to many providers of bed and breakfast/guest house accommodation.

Details of these various enterprises can be accessed from the links provided on the side bar to the left of the screen.
